Basic directions of the electronic public purchasing are considered as a component of the program "the electronic government". Foreign experience of the use of the system of electronic purchases and stages of creation of mechanism of the electronic public purchasing in Ukraine are investigated. The ways of improvement of the informative system of the public purchasing in Ukraine are offered.
