OVERBOOKING AS THE INSTRUMENT OF REVENUE MANAGEMENT
The peculiarities of the use of overbooking in the hotel business have been investigated. Using the principles of overbooking which are applied in hospitality, the study found that there are statistically significant returns on the revenue in Ukrainian hotels.Prerequisites and benefits of implementing overbooking in hotel business are analyzed.Keywords: overbooking,revenue management, hospitality, hotels, market segments.
