GLOBAL TRENDS OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT
The article analyzes tourism industry development trends in the context
of globalization, widely available information, political and economic instability and terroristic threats. The factors influencing the development of the global tourism industry have been determined. The factors that will shape the geography of touristic flows and destinations in the coming years have been listed and trends must be taken into consideration for the creation and improvement of any developmental strategy for a tourism destination.
