ECONOMIC POLICY OF THE STATE AND EFFECTS OF ITS REALIZATION
Background. Effective economic policy is an important component of state regulation of the national economy and socio-economic reform of society. The current crisis economic and socio-political processes in Ukraine, which are the result of both global globalization challenges and particular national contradictions, have revealed urgent problems in achieving socially acceptable effects of the implementation of the state’s economic policy. Problems of the content and effects of state economic policy cannot but take into account the specific nature of relations between the state (state institutions-regulators, officials) and civil society (social groups, individuals-consumers of public services).
Analysis of recent research and publications. The works of domestic and foreign scientists occupy an important place among the significant scientific researches of the essence, mechanism and efficiency of the economic policy of the state. At the same time, the question of the effects (results) of economic policies, their evaluation and formation of procedures for achieving it require further research.
The aim of the article is to reveal theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of economic policy and its effects, to substantiate the content of the concept of "the effects of the implementation of the state economic policy", and to identify the areas for achieving the appropriate effects of economic policy in Ukraine.
Materials and methods. Theoretical and methodological basis of the article is the scientific works of domestic and foreign economists on problems of the state economic policy and increase of its efficiency. In the course of research, a set of scientific methods and approaches was used: systemic and structural-functional methods, scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, comparison, evolutionary and genetic approaches.
Results.The solution of the strategic tasks of Ukraine’s development is possible only with an effective and balanced economic policy. The urgency of the transition to an economic policy that is adequate to the pressing challenges of our society becomes more and more urgent. The main effects of state economic policy in Ukraine should be social and economic stability, reducing the volatility of the main economic parameters of stimulating economic growth. Ultimately, it is necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the consistent application of regulatory tools and the formation of an effective transmission mechanism of the state’s economic policy.
Conclusion. The proposed theoretical and methodological approaches allow us to carry out a well-founded analysis of the state economic policy, that is to describe, explain what is happening, construct a logical model of analysis, and also allow to forecast future effects.
