Material and methods. The study provides an understanding of education as a space for the development of essential powers of the individual. Accordingly, the paper uses theoretical achievements of the representatives of active approach to becoming human.
Results. Education remains spontaneous process, within which the organization is based on the needs of external authorities. Thus, the main business of educational institutions is violence and power. The way in which new content is introduced is designed to asymmetric "subject-object" relationship. Universality and accountability form the educational process are achieved at the cost of individual.
